All,
Two questions:
1)
I've been looking around for a Bean of set of Beans to handle the interface
between GnuJSP and the mSQL-JDBC driver. So far no luck. Does anyone know
where such a thing might live or should I build this from scratch? Or am I
headed down a bad path?
We have servlets talking to mSQL-JDBC OK and are looking at Beans to
moderate that conversation as well.
I'd like to get a good sense of what the different architectural options
are.
For reference, here's the rest of my environment:
Apache 1.3.2
JServ 1.0b3
JDK 1.1.3
mSQL-JDBC 1.0
GnuJSP 0.9.8
2)
With regards to environment - we tried moving to Apache 1.3.4, but this
didn't play well out of the box with JServ 1.0b3. There seemed to be some
differences in the location of the configuration file and whether sbin
existed or not. We could tweak the installation to make it work, but it
would be nicer if this worked from a clean install. Has anyone run into
this?
Thanks for any help!
