I'm working with the Oracle Application Server, but mainly with the C/C++-
cartridge. It is fast and reliable once you get it to work. The Java-Cartridge
does have problems, what I have heard, especially with stability (OWAS 3.x). The
only
advantage using the java cartridge is the possiblity to scale your application.
I would
prefer using the PL/SQL-Cartridge if you want to stick to oracle. If you want to

use standards do use servlets/jsp. With version 4.x the application server from
oracle
works with serveral web-servers. I would use apache with jserv/gjsp and combine
it with cartridges (for migration).
