JSP-interest is not a moderated list so the information/noise ratio is
dependent to a large degree on its members. Here are some ideas that have
been useful to me in the past:

* To switch to digest, you can send mail as follows:

| To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
| Subject:
| ---
| SET jsp-interest DIGEST

This will get you a digest just once a day; that is what I use.

If you want even less information than a Digest, you can ask for an Index
only. To switch to an Index, send mail as follows:

| To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
| Subject:
| ---
| SET jsp-interest INDEX

(Note, I've not used this mode yet).

See http://archives.java.sun.com/cgi-bin/wa for more information, including
how to reach the LISTSERV online user's manual.

* Sun maintains an up-to-date archive of this list, at:
    http://archives.java.sun.com/archives/jsp-interest.html

* Please, to improve the quality of the postings, do not bulk-quote, or
bulk-attach previous messages. Note that an attachement shows in-line in
the DIGEST, which makes it quite hard to follow.

If you spend a few seconds including what you really need to quote,
everybody, specially people using DIGEST (like me) and INDEX, will have a
better chance of locating what you have to say (and acting on it).

* You may also want to pause for a few seconds before sending a post and
think if you want to send the mail. This is a fairly large list.

Thanks,
