I thought I saw a posting in the WebSphere newsgroup at
news.software.ibm.com that they were thinking JSP 1.0 support may be delayed
until after the Websphere 3.0 release and the initial support would be for
JSP 0.92.

I have asked IBM and they said since the JSP 1.x spec has not been
finialized.
They are not sure any date, but the earliest will be Application server 3.0
by the end of the year.
I have the same concern. I was hoping the WebSphere 2.x will support JSP
1.0.
