When using XML/XSLT scriplets and taglets don't go away, but they do move
inside the stylesheet and away from the page developer. If anyone is
interested, I can post my approaches to apply xslt to xml. I have been
doing this with a JRun code taglet and now I'm doing it offline (compile to
jsp). There are advantages to both approaches.
I just recently started looking at the xsp work by the cocoon project, but I
think they're on the right track. The webmacro project also looks very
interesting. I like the fact that the scripting language doesn't cause
problems with your xml. Like Tuyen, I am also interested in knowing about
other projects.
