  Many many thanks for your suggestion.

  We tried adding JdbcSqlserver pool name in the connection management panel
of   Websphere but, still we are not able to access the database in the
MSSQL server .

    and also we tried executing a servlet using  servletrunner which comes
along with JavaServletDevelopmentKit 2.0 it was working fine with
MS-Sqlserver.

   can you kindly write the step-by-step procedure of adding connection pool
asap
