After reading the spec somewhat more thurourgly than the first time I read it, I noticed a couple of strange things with table 2-4... * The perscribed conversion for String setProperty on a char property type requies a method that dose not exist on java.lang.Character (and to my knowledge never existed), the valueOf(String) method. I suggest that String.charAt(0) be the replacement for that entry on the table. (Also, shouldn't the footnote be removed or dealt with?) * There is no entry for Short or short values. I assume that the conversion is identical to the pattern followed. Is this an oversight or intentional?
