The EA2 is like every other software system out there. It has bugs. AFAIK,
there's been atleast a couple of posts in this list indicating that there's a
bug in the extends directive. Besides EA stands for *EARLY ACCESS* developed
concurrently with the specification.
Now that I have your code as a test case, I'll make sure this bug is fixed for
the next release. Thanks.
