Hello,
We have to create a protytype of a comunity-servlet-framework. normally
we work / let them run under apache/JServ on a Linux-Box.
Now we have to do this installation under solaris. my question is, as
somebody has experience with solaris and knows what the best environment
is to run such a framework.
We plan to let it run under the JWS. i heard the JWS has
performance-problems!?
further, i still dont know as the JWS is still under developement or as
sun cancelled the further developement of the JWS. anybody knows? and,
if they really stoped it, whats the new, replacing product?
we have to make later some benchmarks on the prototype and we need a
reliable servlet-runner and probably JSP below our framework.
we are calculating with hughe loads.
what software/environment do you recommed for solaris?
do we need our classical apache/JServ installation to use JSP.
what more can you recommend us?
what about websphere?
thanks in advance for your input.
greetings.
ud / R.O.S.A.
