<POTENTIAL_APOLOGY> If this message already got through to the list without me moticing it, I apologize. However, it seems as if it disappeared along the way, so here is another try: </POTENTIAL_APOLOGY> Hi all, We are currently working on a project where WLS (Web Logic Server 4.0) is used for generating the HTML frontend and communicating with the WLE backend using IIOP connection pooling. When finalizing the overall architecture, we realized that the HTML interface development would greatly benefit from using JSP instead of servlets, which is now the case due to WebLogic (WLS) not having support for JSP in the current released version. Searching the JSP mailing list archives, I found out that a few people already had tried out WebLogic 4.5 and its JSP support. Therefore, I have three questions: 1. How do I get hold of the WebLogic 4.5 Beta? 2. When is the final WebLogic 4.5 to be released (and the probability for that date to be the actual release date)? 3. Does anyone know if there will be support for IIOP connection pooling to WLE (WebLogic Enterprise Connectivity) directly from JSP. I guess there should be, since JSP compiles to servlets, right? Anyway, we do not want another layer of EJB to get to WLE on the backend. I would be grateful for any help on this matter. Any BEA people on the list? :-) Bye for now. /Per Eklund MIDEX IT-Konsult AB, Sweden Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] / [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone: +46-705-185070 ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JSP-INTEREST".
