I don't know how many of you are doing jsp as a part of your job, but the company stance here is pretty pro-Microsoft (ie, no java). As a result, all of my jsp work is my own stuff on my home box. I've been thinking about getting a server colocated somewhere so that I can point potential employers at my work (and also because I've got about 8 domains that are doing nothing over at Verio). Anyway, I'm having a hard time justifying the expense just so I can have a server sitting somewhere, but if other people were interested in divvying up the monthly cost we could all (potentially) use it for deployment purposes.
I haven't figured out all of the issues (security, administration, etc), but if you're interested, drop me a line and after everyone has had a chance to respond we can talk about options. My first thought is just to get a Linux box with a hundred megsor so, install the JDK and whatever app server everyone agrees on (I'm thinking we could probably convince the vendors to kick in a free copy of whichever one we choose).
Anyway, if it sounds interesting let me know. If it sounds stupid, feel free to keep that to yourself. :)
