Hi JSP developers
we have a good community now around this mailing list, so it would be a
shame to let a few bored and mis-motivated people change that. Here is a
suggestion for another way...

Set to "No Emails"
You can set to not receive emails from the list and therefore relieve the
pressure on your inbox. You would still be able to send emails to the list
as the option still leaves you subscribed to the mailing list. Use the
mailing list form at our site to do this.

Use an Archive
Our archive can be moderated so that spam/junk emails are removed. It is not
currently but we will work on that. Also, executable files... Viruses, in
most cases, will be removed.

For the moment the archive is on virtual server that we have little control
over, however if we see it being heavily used (which we do) or get enough
feedback, we'll move it to a better solution. Any one care to help?

So in summary, don't leave the mailing, there is always another way!

Regards,
Ian
