Session in JSP and Servlet

can jsp and servlet share the same session?     if a create and fill information in a session in a servlet. Can a jsp page acces the same session? If in the jsp page i do: req.getSession(false); would it get the session created before in my servlet?     thnaks fro any info   Carlos
