I have one particular question which regards to IIS more than Servlet
itself... I am new to servlet, and doing some research before we finally
decided to move to servlet.. Basically, I need to make sure that servlet can
be configured in the way that our merchants are set up in ASP, IIS
environment.. Any comment and help is appreciated..
1. Inside the IIS, we have many web sites which have its own IP Address,
etc.. Also, they have their own memory space, so one doesn't crash the
other, etc... Is it possible to have the different JSP for each web site? or
are they being shared in one particular shared directory? If this is
possible, how can I achieve that?
2. Making the Default Web Site to be running in separate memory caused
servlet Exec to malfunction.. It returns an Remote Exeption error... Any
bypass for this?
3. Can JSP and Servlet stored in each website's own directory? For example,
in IIS, I have 10 websites with its own IP Address, DNS, etc which has
totally different comfigurations for each... If I build a JSP/Servlet, it
has to be different for all, residing in the different directory.. Is this
possible? and how would I do that since there is no scripts directory in
other web sites?
Thanks for help in advance.
