I was wondering if anybody knows of any free and/or open source Java web
application servers that either have JSP in them or can use something like
GNUJSP or RocketJSP?
And when I talk about a web application server, I mean more than just a
servlet engine and JSP runner. I'm looking for something that also has a
server configuration layer, unified logging service, a generic event
mechanism, database connection pooling, etc... other wishful things would
be a scheduler, a framework for building other services, object-relational
mapping tools, etc...
The only thing I have found so far is Protomatter at the Giant Java Tree.
But I'm not sure how much of it really worked and how successful it is.
For the people who desire to use free tools, what have you cobbled together?
