Not to brush your question off, but we've just had a pretty lengthy
discussion of JSP vs. Servlets here, so you should try looking through the
mailing list archives at
http://archives.java.sun.com/archives/jsp-interest.html for what was said.
Just select a month and do a find for the word "servlet", or try an archive
search.

In fact everyone should try to find answers there first before asking here.
