1. How reasonable?
Keep in mind that 1.0 is still fairly new, so somewhat reasonable would be
my answer. Heck, you're lucky to even find an ISP supporting any version of
JSP!
1. Should you demand 1.0?
Absolutely! The more voices they hear asking for it the sooner they'll
upgrade.
2. Re 0.92 spec docs:
Go to the JSP FAQ link below and you'll find a pointer to the spec (and
more).
3. Local copy?
Huh? The servlet engine runs on the server hosted by the ISP. It wouldn't
be local unless you were the ISP.
If you're stuck with using 0.92 I would strongly suggest you avoid the 0.92
features that were dropped in the 1.0 spec!
