JRUN JSP1.0 vs. GNUJSP1.0

I have jrun 2.3.3 whichs come with an implementation of jsp1.0. I do not find it very stable. If the jsp file is extensive or long the compiled servlet works sometimes and then crashes the whole server. I am getting very annoyed.
