The 'startserver' window gives a 'Finished' message after
executing the batch. In the 'README' it is mentioned that this could be the
reason, if I execute the batch from windows, but I tried this from dos mode.
It is not giving any error message. Could it be that I left out something
very basic, while installing?

Are you getting an error in the dos prompt? What does it say?

Hi,
I am new to JSP. I have downloaded the JSWDK1.0 and also added
tools.jar in the classpath and set the java_home to the jdk directory, as
specified in the readme file. The server is not starting up even when I
execute the pgm in DOS mode. Can anyone help me?
