I have bought this book and have already read a part of it.
It's true that the JSP section is only one chapter big. It covers the basic
things available in other tutorial like the SUN one. It also includes an
example on how to query databases from JSP by using Java beans.

Even if, the JSP is only a chapter, it's well covered and I think that most
beginner and intermediate programmers in JSP will find what they are looking
for. The book could be not so good for the experts that might be among us.

Note that the book covers some other interesting stuff like:
* Sevlets (introduction, chaining, error handling and logging,session
tracking, servlet context,distributed computing with servlet)
* Connection Pools
* JavaMail and Servlets
* A full study case based on Rational Unified Process including XML,
Servlets technologies
* Moving from CGI to Servlets
* Internationalizing websites
* JNDI
* LDAP and Java
* EJB
* Indexing and Searching
* Jini and Javaspaces + a practical case (more than 120 pages on that stuff)

One usefull thing is in annex the configuration of JWS, JRUN ...

Globally, I would recommed this book.
