Hi all.
Is it normal that when I update a servlet, or a bean (compile, publish),
the server calls destroy() + init() methods in every servlet loaded?
I noticed WebSphere 2.0 does it, and I wonder if I can force that only the
servlet modified be updated, because when I update a bean or a servlet the
application fails with java.lang.ClassCastException if the servlet or bean
was being used.
Another cuestion. I've read that the new version of an application server
need 512 Mb of memory for running properly. Is it normal in the rest of
servers?
Thanks in advance.
