we are evaluating the weblogic app server and we like it better than anything
else.
it's further ahead of the game and seems to stay there, as opposed to playing
leapfrog with the
other vendors on who's got more stuff to offer.
they have their own RMI which is very robust and easy to implement/pull out if
necessary
they support the lastest jsp, servlet api
their rmi servers / ejb's can be secured easily so unwanted users / programs
cannot access them
they have great clustering ability which replicates session info on more than
one app server if needed
i like it.
