Hi,
This problem is due to proxy setting in ur Control Panel > Internet >
Connection Tab > there u will find the 'Access Internet via Proxy Server'
box uncheck the box.
And if ur using Netscape as a browser click on Edit > Preferences >
Advanced > Proxies >click on the Radio Button Direct Connection to
Internet.
After doing this if u want to log on to net revert to original
settings..
   This will solve ur problem.
Rgds,
   Jiten
