Hi !
I just dowloaded the Java 2 SDK Entreprise Edition (j2sdkee1.2) and JSDK
1.2.2, and installed it on my computer. I now want to start developing my
servlets with this. My question is : if I understood correctly the doc that
came with the download, I have to package my servlets and HTML files in a
.war file using the wizard, and then deploy the .war file. Is this correct ?
Do I have to follow this procedure each time I make a modification in my
servlets and/or HTMLs ? Why can't I simply copy my files in their respective
directory (<server_root>/servlets for servlets and
<server_root>/public_html for HTMLs), like I do now with JWS 2.0 ? Or what
am I missing here ?
