hi guys,
I am newbie to JSP and Servlets.
I am little bit confused about Bean and Servelts. My confusion is as
follows:
As far as I understand, JSP are just similar to ASP and Bean is
similar to COM component.
JSP contains some html tags also and it can work similar to ASP, I
mean calling bean to do some processing and generate the page
dynamically with data returned by the bean.
Am I correct ?
And on the other hand, we can call Servlet from .html and get reply in
HTML format...... but the scenario is, we have to write all that
<HTML> tags manually in out.println statement like this:
out.println("<HTML>");
and obvious this is shedy job.
so can any one help me to understand where should I use JSP/Bean combo
and where to use Servlet ?
Any help on link would be appreciated.
Thanks.
