I can't say i completely understand you situation, so let me know if my picture is wrong somehow. You have a JSP that generates an HTML output. That HTML contains the applet tag. And you want That applet to pass information to the Server side of the JSP? If this is the situation i see only one solution: embeding the data in a URL and call the JSP either from the applet by opening a URLConnection or by telling the browser to move/open the new URL. If you use the URLConnection the data will effect the display only after another page is loaded, if you tell the browser to move to another URL the user will see the effect immidietly, but the applet wil have to be reloaded. In any case the data can't be moved as an Object, you have to contert it to a stream. lee Lee Elenbaas RTS Israel [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (972) 2 5810748 ext: 207 Fax: (972) 2 5815507 ------- Life building in 2 easy steps -------------- - First design the best structure you can. - Then implement it as simple as you can.
