Actually, if I understand the question correctly, IE 5.0 provides the
default XSL (which you can also edit if you are not happy with the
formatting).
Most of my XML documents can be viewed easily with IE. Some problems may
arise when use encoding such as "US_ASCII", but if you stick with UTF you
should be fine.
IE shows your XML file as a tree, where you can open and collapse your nodes
to see their children.

to render xml data u have to write an xsl or css file
which reads xml data and presents using html. u can
see some demos in microsoft site on this topic.
