as you didn't mention the you have a jsp engine installed i guess you don't
have one .... get one install it and this will bring you a ig step ahead ;)

but is suggest to you that you use suns free webserver which comes with every
jswdk (java server web develpoment kit) you can download it from:
http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/download.html it also comes with some
examples and explanations

the jsp engine recognizes your files with the extension .jsp and compiles them
into servlets those response then to your requests
