Newbie in JSP

I am a newbie in JSP, till now I was working in ASP but now I wanna shift to JSP. I have some questions in mind may be someone answer them

1. How can I use database with JSP ?

2. Do I have to shift my web host ? If yes then can you tell me the addresses of the web hosts who currently supporting JWS ?
