Had the same thing and the gnuJsp-classpath (I guess you have a similar line
in tomcat.properties...?) didn't do the trick. However, I included the jar
in my wrapper.classpath specified
in Jserv.properties.
like this:
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/jdk1.2.2/lib/mysql_uncomp.jar
That did the trick (indeed, I used mysql as a test at that time)
