Yes ,I put the jar file in jrun classapth and now I am able to run the
servlet programe.
Yes , it is indeed a good idea to set the classpath at the commandline every
time we do javac.

i think you need to put a ref to that jar file into your jrun classpath,
which is located in jrun\jsm-default\properties\jsm.properties..

the system classpath is only used by javac for compilation.  in fact, i have
read a number of experts who recommend against using a system classpath
because you become dependent on it and your code becomes less portable.
they say to set the classpath at the commandline everytime you run javac..
