Thanks to all who helped me with the IIS-Tomcat problem.
I am successful in getting it to work now. But have a doubt.
I installed IIS/Tomcat 3.1 on an NT (SP5) machine and I am able to view the
jsp examples which come with the tomcat distribution.
I then defined a new context, wrote my own jsp files and tried to access
them. I found that my files would not load unless there was a WEB-INF
directory under docbase of my new context. Can somebody tell my why this
directory is necessary?
Is there any documentation out there on the contents of WEB-INF and the
directives in the web.xml file within?
