I happened to have a similar problem a while ago with the RMI list
because my mail alias had changed and so I could not unsubscribe "this
other person with another mail address".
I solved it by going to the web interface and doing it manually, for the
JSP list, go to the URL
http://archives.java.sun.com/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=jsp-interest&A=1

PD: A little warning, be patient, this page is awfully slow and some
