Hi,
This is my first post to the mailing list and unfortunately it has nothing
to do with JSP, or even Java for that matter.
I would just like to warn people about opening the attachment in the mail
entitled c:\coolprogs\prettypark.exe. It contains a virus that, when
opened,
will go through all all addresses in your address book and send itself to
each one.
Just to illustrate, this happened to a colleague of mine. Unfortunately, he
opened the attachment and unfortunately he is a salesman with hundreds of
addresses in his address book. Let me just say that he didn't have any
problems occupying himself that day. On a personal side, he took up the
contact with people hadn't talked with in a while, on a business side, it
didn't look so good to put it mildly.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that you try not to open unknown .exe
attachments, at least not until you have run an updated virus checker on
it.
This will save thousands of dollars and avoid huge amounts of badwill from
otherwise content customers/partners.
Hopefully, my next post will concern JSP ;-)
Best Regards
/Pr Eklund
