Hi,
This may not be the exact answer you are looking
for, but can help you solve.
1.. Configuration of the web server to support
Servlets depends on which webserver is installed. If
it is any of the poplar web server like ( IPlanet /
Websphere / Weblogic etc ) it will have an
administrative interface ( which you can start by
logging as a root and then go to /usr/netscape/server4
and then execute by ./startconsole in IPlanet ) where
you can go to the webserver and go to servlets and
enable them. Then you should keep you class files in
the doc dirctory or any other directory to which you
mapped.
2.. Regarding the Javamail, I suppose you included
mail.jar in your class path. you should also include
java bean activation frame work i.e activation.jar
(http://java.sun.com/beans/glasgow/jaf.html) in your
class path. It should help you.
Thank You,
Sreenu Pallepati.
