You don't have any choice with Access, AFAIK.  Access is fine for
development, but you'll need a pure JDBC driver and a "real" database like
MS SQLServer, Oracle, or even mySQL for multiple concurrent users.  The
problem is, no one's ever written a pure JDBC driver for Access.  Another,
less scalable, solution is to make sure your code accessing Access is
single-threaded.
