Hi Leon,
I would say no, you cannot. The VM interacts with the a GC that will not
release the memory before the file(s) are dereferenced. But we do the same
and have as yet not run into memory problems, as we programmed the jsp in
such a way that the files are dereferenced as soon as the session times out.
