Hi,
I am using JSP 0.92 and the <servlet> tag. I can see that the
servlet engine we are using JRun slowly starts freezing when I call the
servlet a certain number of times. The servlet in turn calls the JSP if the
particular menu item is pressed.
I am not sure if I have to clean any resources. The JVM of JRun eats
up processor time and slows down. I am just forwarding to the main servlet
from the JSP which in turn calls the JSP if the menu is clicked.
What's wrong ?
bye,
Mohan

I'm not sure, but off the top of my head it sounds like there should be a
better way of doing what you're trying to do. What are you trying to do?

Subject: Calling servlet
Hi,
Are there any performance problems involved in calling a servlet
from a JSP serveral times ? I have to call a servlet from a JSP which in
turn calls the JSP again. This happens several times. I find the engine that
I am using JRun freezes after some time.
Do I have to clean up some resource in this case ?
bye,
Mohan
