For the late adapter of Internet, I think it's time to give a little bit of
explanation of the cyberculture. The cyberculture prones at least one thing:
The information should delivered by the person who is at the origin of it.
It means that you should not have the information by a third party (media or
agency) because it may have been altered.

Therefore, if you want to access information about Nasa, you go to Nasa's
computer. If you want information from the CIA you go to the CIA's computer.
I know it may sometime be illegal but that the reason most of the hacker
were targeting that kind of site. They want to have the information at the
source.

So now let's come back to our little discussion. Following the same
principle, if you want to know about Java, where do you go?

http://java.sun.com/

By searching a little bit, you will find:
http://forum.java.sun.com/ that contains the list of all the maling list
(including JDBC) and for eventually more information on JDBC:

http://java.sun.com/products/jdbc/

It's easy and limit the number of question out of the subject.

This mailing is becoming unusable because there is too much advertisement
and too much out of subject questions due to a lack of research. I know it's
sometime excessivly difficult to learn a new language but after 17 years of
programming I've learned at least one thing: Look at the damn documentation
before asking something!

Now, some people would think I'm an asshole by talking that way but going
through 130 mails per day to realize that half of them could have been
avoided starts to be really boring for everybody. Especially the person with
small bandwith and who are paying the communication to Internet.

For those who are actually posting real question/discussion, please do not
desperate! The discussion around the different programming models are very
interesting.

Regards,

Frederik Delacourt
