I have used JRUN on NT and Linux (Redhat 6.1 distribution) and it is a great
product. Many vendors including Allaire only support certain distributions
of Linux (i.e. Redhat 6.1) and will probably have problems with other
flavors connecting to apache via DSO due to the change in some shared
libraries (I've tried Mandrake and Storm). If your company is using many
products which test their code off different Linux distributions, I would
stick to Redhat - or use Solaris. Also, you can get support for Redhat.
Sun's JDK1.3 has some threading problems on NT, so you might want to choose
the JDK1.2.2.

Bottom line: If you have Solaris expertise, you would probably be better
saying with Solaris.
