and Websphere ??

I too have the same opinion , we had problems deploying on Websphere with
code
consisting any specification higher than JDK 1.1.7, I agree to Mauro ,
Websphere does require you to use JDK1.1.7 .
To be 100% sure , I'd say , refer to the Websphere documentation ,
because
we were using version 1.

I think websphere "requires" "IBK JDK 1.1.7p" anything else won't work.
Chek the getting started guide for requirements (if I remember well).
