No and no.  Close, though.  The easy place to put your beans in JRun 2.3.3
is under JRun/classes or JRun/jsm-default/classes.  Those two directories
are in your java.classpath in jsm.properties by default.  You can put them
in any dir that's in the java.classpath, which is why the instantdb/classes
also works.

There's nothing magical about any of these directories.  The key is to have
the JVM load your bean from a directory that is in its classpath.  The JVM's
classpath is set from the java.classpath in jsm.properties.  Any dir will
do, it just happens that some are already included in the java.classpath for
convenience.

BTW, the original poster's instantdb/Classes won't work unless the
upper-case "C" in "Classes" is also uppercase in the java.classpath.  Java
is case-sensitive.
