Use document.form.action property for specifying the url
Say something like this

<FORM METHOD = POST NAME="thisform">
<Form elements out here like text box >
<input type = button1 value="button1 onlick=func1();">
<input type = button2 value="button2 onlick=func2();">
</form>

<script language="javascript">
func1() {
document.thisform.action="URL";
document.thisform.submit();
}
func2() {

//do processing
document.thisform.action="URL";
document.thisform.submit();

}

</script>

</body>
</html>
