Like the man said, wrap them in " - look at the html in the browser to
diagnose this sort of thing

value="<%= rs("CurDate")%>"

It gets trickier if you want them in a tag- eg

<td><h1><%= rs("CurDate")%></h1></td>

since you'll have to escape all sorts of things that will confuse the html
parser ( < and > spring to mind immediately)
