WML is the limited UI language used by WAP devices (mobile phones is one
example).
Now for the original question.
We use JSPs for WAP and it works ok, we had some problems with the encoding
at the begining but the solution we fount is to place:
<% response.setContentType ("text/vnd.wap.wml; charset=ISO-8859-1");%>
in every WML JSP
