Subject: Calling Stored Procedures
Hello all,
i am trying to call a stored procedure that returns a reference cursor from
Oracle. All my attempts have resulted in these errors.
I have tried the following:
(1)callableStatement.registerOutParameter(1,OracleTypes.CURSOR);
This gives me this error:
*** Error: "OracleTypes/CURSOR" is either a misplaced package name or a
non-existent entity. An expression name is expected in this context
(2)callablestatement.registerOutParameter(1,Types.OTHER);
This gives me these errors:
Errors with Procedure[Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle]Cannot bind PL/SQL
Records or Cursor References
Errors again java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC driver for
Oracle]Cannot bind PL/SQL Records or Cursor References
Any help that anybody can give me with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Claire Ryan.
