We are also looking for the same idea. But still i have some doubt about it . pls guide

The idea 2b sounds greate but if we are using jswdk then how we can tell jswdk that
this servlet should start autometically.
If u reffer karl moss for java servlet programming he suggest:
1) build a class which generate connection pooling.
2)build a servlet , in the init method of this servlet create an object of the
ConnectionPool calss.
3)load this servlet in the memory of server by indicating server that this servlet
should be initilized when u start(this can be done in apache jserv but i can not find
how to do this with jswdk and unfortunatley apache jserv does not have jsp support).
4) Use that servlet object with getServletConetext so that every time u'll refer to
same object and same connection pool.
Now problem is straight forword , we can not do this untill we load the first servlet
and i don't know how to do this with jswdk.
