I know what you're talking about, but I don't have enough experience to tell
you how it's done in a .jsp. I have built web pages with .asp pages though
and used DNS-less connections. I don't think you'll find any refrence to a
"DNS" or "DNS-less" connection when searching JDBC docs. Look on Microsofts
site and try looking for information on connecting to an Access database
with JDBC. Hope this helps.

I always do it with ASP .
It's faster ... you simply pass the connection string including all the info
( driver, path, name) and it works fine ... (Nt4 and IIS )
