There is not web base admin like the previous version, WebSphere 2. But you
can only install the administrative console on other machine to proceed the
administration.
About the log file, I am not sure which log files are you mention but if
you try to remove the standard error log file of websphere from the
administrative console.
Hope that this will help.

Hi All
I am having a problem with websphere on NT.At this time we are using trial
version of websphere 3.0.
1. Whenever we start administrator console of websphere, CPU usage jumps to
95% and after we close, it comes back to normal. That is making our site
extremely slow when admin. console is running.
2. for each hit, it add some 150 KB of data to the log file, that is really
filling up space on our server.
3. Do we get web admin console for websphere, or does it come with licensed
copy of it?
I would really appreciate if someone can tell what might be wrong, do
others
have similar problems?
thanks in advance
Vaishali
