In fact I tried  the other way
DriverManager.registerDriver (new Oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());


        Connection conn =

DriverManager.getConnection(jdbc:oracle:thin:@kalyan:1521:orc1","scott",
"tiger");

In ur code ur using jdbc Odbc bridge .In this u dont need the bridge too
